.I offer Divemaster training programs where you can start as a non-diver or Open Water Diver and become a Divemaster in 6 to 8 months. To become a Dive Master, the following courses and requirements are necessary:
– Rescue Diver certification[6]
– At least 18 years old[6]
– CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months[6]
– At least 40 logged dives to start the course[1][2][6]
– At least 60 logged dives to graduate[1][2][3][6]
– Fine-tune dive skills, refine rescue skills, gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities[3]
– Knowledge development sessions, waterskills exercises, and specialized skills[3]
– Business of diving and your career[3]
– Awareness of the dive environment[3]
– Dive setup and management[3]
– Mapping an open water site[3]
– Conducting dive briefings[3]
– Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive[3]
– Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course[3]
– Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs[3]
– Picking up a few specialty certifications to improve skills while getting the dives needed[2]
